About us
FNLY is pronounced "finally". Behind the name is a personal story and the goal to finally get things done right.
Our story
Our son Finley was born in March 2025. He has a rare genetic condition, has been visually impaired and almost deaf since birth, and needs extensive medical support.
During that time we learned how much it means when someone takes care of you and keeps their word. In 2026 we founded our companies and named them FNLY, as a reminder of Finley and as a promise to our clients.
We want to help others the way we were helped.
The founders
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Alina Schmid has worked as a model, content creator and influencer for many years. She knows social media from the perspective of both creators and brands and brings that experience to FNLY Social and FNLY Agency.
As managing director of the German companies she is responsible for processes and organization, drawing on her experience as an operations manager.
Co-Founder
Fabian Schmid is a certified IT systems specialist. As an IT consultant he has led projects from consulting and IT transitions to fully managed IT services. For several years he served as managing director and led international teams.
He leads FNLY IT and consulting and will head the upcoming FNLY Consulting. He also holds the German IHK trainer certification.
How we work
If you need IT and social media, you get both from one group. The teams know each other and work together.
You talk to people who know your business, not to someone new every time.
We keep what we promise. If something does not work out, we tell you early and openly.

In 2026. That year Alina and Fabian Schmid founded FNLY IT UG, FNLY Social UG and FNLY IT LLC.
FNLY IT UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and FNLY Social UG (haftungsbeschränkt), both based in Borken, Germany, and FNLY IT LLC, based in Delaware. Further companies, for example for FNLY Agency and FNLY Consulting, are being formed.
Yes. FNLY Group was founded by the married couple Alina and Fabian Schmid, who run the company together. There are no outside investors.
